I have a note on my phone called “TREE SITUATION”.

It’s not poetic. It’s just me trying to decode why “remove that tree” can mean anything from “a guy shows up and it’s done” to “three trucks, six people, cones, ropes, and a crane.”

Because the job is rarely “cut tree.”

The job is:

don’t hit the house

don’t hit the neighbor’s fence

don’t hit the line going to the house

don’t wreck the driveway

don’t leave a yard full of splinters

That’s what you’re paying for.
