Or the baseboard feels… squishy? Or your water bill shows up and you do that thing where you stare at it like it’s going to apologize.&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;Then you do the classic homeowner spiral:&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;ul&gt;&#xA;&lt;li&gt;shut off the toilet fill valves (because Reddit said so)&lt;/li&gt;&#xA;&lt;li&gt;watch the water meter like it’s a stock ticker&lt;/li&gt;&#xA;&lt;li&gt;convince yourself the sound in the wall is “just the fridge”&lt;/li&gt;&#xA;&lt;/ul&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;And eventually you call someone.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
